Straight Talkis
a short monthly round-up of international events with brief, incisive and easy-to-read
comment designed to stimulate critical reflection: we say what the ‘popular
press’ (right-wing and left-wing) doesn’t say. Our editorial line – determined
solely by the Polex Communist Collective – is unashamedly anti-capitalist and
uncompromisingly anti-imperialist; the progressive movement has suffered too
much from opportunism and compromise born of political careerism and lack of
principles. Our commentaries are personal opinions signed by communists writing
freely on their own account, with no allegiance to any party, group or organisation:
unthinking obedience to individuals, states and parties as if they could never
be mistaken or betray their original ideals has cost the revolutionary movement
dear; no saviours from on high deliver, and parties and leaders are not all-knowing.
Diversity among radicals is a strength. This monthly newsletter is e-mailed
